Thoughts of a Working Momma

Getting to know me

I am not in my 20s anymore. I am many things to many people. A few of my roles include mom, wife, writer, full time worker, friend, mentor, confidant, pet owner, gardener, lover of life and nature. If I find something I like or think may help others, I just have to share it with my “friends”.

I’ll write about anything that strikes me. Might be work issues. Might be family issues including infertility. Might be loss of a parent or job or item. I may write about being a mom in the craziness that this world has become. Might be something different entirely, like a new song, show, or movie I’ve found.

When I got to my 30s, I realized a few things and started taking some risks. I’ve always done what others wanted. What made others happy. I put myself last. Don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with being selfless, but not to your own detriment. Self care is not selfish! I’m learning this. I am just ready to put myself introverted little self out there.

I may not be able to tell you exactly what this blog will have. BUT! I will tell you what this will be. It will be uplifting. It will be respectful. No hating on my opinion, your opinion, or yourself please. I’ve got a lot of feels and I’m ready to share.
